By the way, Cheryl, I saw the proofs for your article on how triathlon equipment has evolved over the years. Nice work :)

Sounds like a possibility. When it comes to staying in shape, where there's a will, there's a way. Salsa dancing at the closing party in Puerto Rico was good exercise, too! As was this morning's Grenadian swim.

Thanks, Cheryl. It was a great meet. I also took 3rd in my age group in the 1500 meter open water swim yesterday. The pool was just gorgeous and I met lots of fun people and enjoyed visiting with teammates and friends. I guess its too late for me to get into the Tinfoilman (I heard its already filled), but I'll probably do the El Tour run as my next competitive event.

I know what you mean, Cheryl. I've always used exercise as a coping strategy during the most stressful times - while writing my masters thesis, caring for my kids when they were infants (I felt like walking milk bottle (that had great diaper changing skills!), moving, coping with writing deadlines. The list goes on and on...

I don't know what I would have done without my running/swimming when I was working full time, working on my Master's Degree, and was a single parent/"ballet mom" for a couple years. It was the only time I felt sane! I sure didn't get enough sleep though!

Cheryl,
One of the reasons I try to find swim groups is because it is very difficult to make lap swimming times work for the faster swimmer. One time I went to the community center and had to wait more than 30 minutes for a lane because there were only 2 open during a water aerobics class and one was occupied by 3 bikini clad teenage girls who were swimming one length every 10 minutes. That was the last straw for me with lap swim...

I hope not to get home wiped out because once I get there we are moving. That will be a lot of exercise in and of itself...
